Wavy Maki-é Bottles
Utilizing one of a traditional Japanese crafts, maki-é technique, these bottles that once held olive oil is up-cycled and transformed into art pieces inspired by the waves of California coast. Using lacquer based, indigo blue paint, specifically designed for glass surfaces, shimmers of reflective thin lines are visible utilizing powdered silver.
MATERIALS USED: Used olive oil glass bottle・urushi based paint for glass・alcohol・powdered silver
