Created in commemoration of lives lost and those who struggled due to the atomic bombs dropped on 6th and 9th of August, 1945. All that remained of some hit by the nuclear weapon were their shadows casted on sidewalks and buildings.

Origami cranes in Japan are symbols of hope and peace. My hope is for us humans to communicate and create with curiosity. Embracing peace, I don’t think necessarily means that there wouldn’t be disagreements, and there certainly are ways to address them that doesn’t involve genocide, dropping bombs, shooting at each other, and exchanging hateful words. How do we create a more inclusive, thoughtful world?
